World at Nanoscale is Dynamic and Crowded
Our goal is to understand how nanoscale processes that are essential to physics, materials and biology take place. We do this by directly visualizing their dynamics.
How do atoms come together to form crystals?.....
How does a set of nanoscale objects assemble into functional materials?.....
How proteins fold and interact with each other in a solution?.....
How transient changes on the surface of catalysts affect their activity?.....
What happens at the interfaces when solids meet liquids?.....
These are only a few of many questions that we ask in our group.
Finding answers to these questions is not only important for many technologies and applications, but these answers will improve our understanding of the nature.
